On the one hand, it's been a very bad weekend. On the other, I have a new review up for Spilled!:

Unless a signal appears near your cursor, you're all but guaranteed to lose it by the time the ping cooldowns lets you move the triangulation dots over to it. And somehow, the cooldown upgrade isn't helping to speed that up
I better understand the disdain for Voices of the Void's 0.9 build; pinging for signals is now teeth-pulling. Ping cooldowns were already silly before, so having it needing multiple pings just to locate a signal, triangulate and then LOSE it is maddening
Finding I'm spending more time in the lab with Darktide to work on my moves; like aiming when dodging/swinging for heads, practicing blocking/pushing efficiently, etc. I'm basically a fighting game player at this rate. Got the hot feets
Started up Tavern Keeper, and the first thing the game tells me is thanks for buying Game Dev Tycoon. Dunno why, but that's quite touching
Notice with Escape from Duckov that there's still a lot of empty space in the base after (seemingly) all buildables are done. Kinda makes me wish there were decorative options to put up
There are people against the unlocked job glamours in FFXIV? Seriously? ‘Job identity’??? This is about player identity and a whole new form of self-expression, being against such a thing because you refuse to look at the party list or icons is some selfish nonsense
Bear in mind I'm leveling from scratch, so I'm running off of drops and what's at the armory (not burning Melk's marks yet). My builds switchup more than my socks, but I always take at least one CC method; I know smokes are divisive, but I've had a lot of runs fail due to gunner crowds
Veteran with heavy sword and recon lasgun (I think) with smoke grenades
I think I’m -ok- at the game, but I can’t duel a horde and two ragers quite yet, so I got smacked up many times. Least the penance for it got me a new piece of chest wear
I -definitely- lost health from melee in that mission
Soooooooooooooo Darktide awarded me an achievement I did -not- earn at all, because I'm pretty sure I got smacked multiple times in that mission
The utility cabinet being the 'heart' of your base/home is already a wonderful answer. It takes stored materials to maintain your constructions, so why not have it double as your stations' inventory by proxy? Less juggling, more time playing
The issue is that it expects players to be borderline robotic with their item management, but it's a game that encourages looting, looting and more looting. Navigating the inventories without a way to click 'add these items for this recipe' is a colossal oversight
I really want to like Vein, but it mimicking Icarus' crafting system by needing items in a workstations' inventory and not counting it from your is needless admin and item juggling. ESPECIALLY since there isn't quick ways to transfer items that're needed, just manually
The music induces nostalgic thoughts about Dark Cloud 1/2 with its French-folk-like motifs. The only main challenge to the game is looking into the future when it comes to designing your town for the most self-enjoyment
It's almost silly how much I'm in love with Town to City. A your-own-pace city builder that has practically no limitations on how you construct its layout
Found out FUMES was released in early access so I got and
And
It's -glorious-
... Which is what I WOULD say, but I've tried transferring items across save files but the mailbox isn't working
Still, a bit of save file editing works around that first issue. I understand what the ATM feature is for now; ways to transfer points between files or just 'liquidate' your points into physical currency (for whatever reason)
My only major criticisms are the instructed ways to transfer items/points from your previous version to the new version save doesn't work -at all-, and the game being coy about some mechanics 'you'll learn later' isn't entirely honest
So I've played the tutorial and fiddled with some learning curve stuff with Voices of the Void's 0.9 unstable release, and I don't understand the anger: Yeah, it's taking a bit to adapt/adjust, but the tutorial is much, MUCH more clear with critical input/info
Oh yeah, I should probably post when I'm streaming for the 0.05% chance it brings people by - www.twitch.tv/dinoracha
Having a hard time getting into Deck of Haunts. The concept is rad, just it gets in its own way when it comes to letting you really play around with card synergies. Unlike other card games where you get many opportunities to tweak and adjust the deck, it's only after every other level
