I just finished Silent Hill 2 the other night. It's amazing how a game over 20 years old tackles its subject matter with more finesse and sensitivity than these movies do.

While also being scarier and better written in general.

If that Dead Space movie ever gets made (I know, I know) I wouldn't mind if they did a similar approach as this is going to.

I'm legit shocked no adaptation has ever done anything like this since it's creative form of interrogation on Peter's part and is hilarious for us.

Plus it shows of much of a stinker Pete can be when he wants to. Which is something we don't see often. Especially these days.

Speaking as someone who likes the "masked gunman" explanation, I'd actually like it if this were actually explored more often in stories or adaptations. As opposed to JUST the "Spider-Man is a menace" rants that we seem to only get from JJ these days.

and even then after Richter is freed from Shaft's control he actually improves in terms of his delivery. The dialogue probably doesn't help with the acting's reputation.

So I just finished a replay of Symphony of the Night and I have to say, after years of hearing how the voice acting was on par with Resident Evil in terms of "so bad it's good" it really isn't that bad. It's actually pretty competent for the most part.

The only real sore spot is Scott McCulloch
