They got to wear costumes to school today. We skipped the wig because that sounds awful for a full day. So hot and itchy! The zipper on the bodysuit broke last night so we pivoted to a more modernized look with black pants and tee with a pyramid belt.

This is why it’s important to do a try on the night before your school’s dress up day— the zipper on the bodysuit just broke. We’re at Walmart (I know, I’m unhappy too) getting cheap pants and a shirt.

Still making tiny adjustments while the glue is still wet. We have the Deltarune on the armor now. We need to place Velcro supports, then final paint to cover the black and add some shading.

It’s a Halloween LoFi type of morning. Be careful of the icy road conditions in Pasadena, Texas this week. I hear it’s really bad out there.

It’s important to recognize when you’re beat. The armor was turning into a “NailedIt!” situation. So I panicked and ordered boots and gloves from Prime so I can work on the chest plate and shoulders.

I was given the most outstanding piece of Fenton glass today! The pics do not do it justice. When the light hits the yellow, it shines like uranium glass.

Possibly should have worn a respirator while using a lighter to seal the edges. :/

My hands hurt, so it’s a wrap tonight. If we can get it all assembled and primed, then I just need to add Velcro to contact points, add zippers to the bracers, and sew the snaps on the cape.

Mom is tired.
