Rhystic is great counter / removal draw out. That's my main use for it because eventually someone will blow a removal on it, or just counter it, and that's one piece of interaction off the board.

Sure some cards being drawn is nice but really I want to draw out removal.

That's not the point, the point is their play group doesn't like board wipes so they rule 0'd them out. You're not a part of their pod so it doesn't affect you and I'm not sure why you had to be disrespectful to them.

I personally think bans in a format like commander hurt the game. Rule Zero exists for a reason.

People can ban cards that are problematic from their pods themselves.

No need for you all to tank the value of a card by banning it.
