Heyoo! Call me Diego. Just a small Latino artist that draws whatever whenever I feel like it. Expect game fanarts (mostly Kirby), OCs, and stuff for friends here. May not be as active here compared to other spaces but I’ll try! Gonna keep this account mostly art focused but will remain very casual

I- completely forgot to talk about this buuut I’ve been done with RTDX… for months lol! And given my inexperience this true arena gave me the most trouble at like 9ish tries but I feel like I can clear it no abilities for now! And with that- my marathon is complete! Soo my thoughts on RTDX: wow-

Top 3 Kirby game for me for sure. I love it and I can definitely say this is one of the most complete and definitive Kirby experiences. While the future of Kirby does seem to have more 3D in it- this game still makes me excited for anything 2D that’s still on the table coming

For me. I still wouldn’t call it my favorite Kirby game as I do enjoy the levels in the main game from robobot more than return to dreamland (and I’m still debating if I like the ones in forgotten land’s more cuz of the 3D), the sheer amount of content beyond the base game still makes this one a-

Always something new to do for new comers and fans of the original a like and gives super star ultra a run for its money for being the best remake- given how much there is to do (far exceeding the amount of content available in most games of the series), this game I feel comfortably replaces the OG-

The second phase was also genuinely really cool and brought the whole thing into an unforgettable experience. Overall, given just how much polish the game has as well as the truckloads of extra content- I’d say this is one of the most definitive and satisfactory 2D Kirby experiences- there is-

And adds so many new attacks to watch out for (some even addressing the original’s flaw of you being able to camp out in the corner) with some new ones like the mech and sand super ability attack which was neat! That and the return of supreme ruler’s coronation that has magolor’s cries for help in-

Holds that crown) but once I learned it I was able to consistently beat it. It was actually very fun now with the addition of the epilogue bosses and the Magolor soul rematch which once again is the contender for one of my favorites bosses in the series as it takes a kinda easy secret final boss-

ties into the clash games) was certainly unexpected but a nice “full circle” moment! Lastly, the new true arena. It took what was easily the easiest one in the series to one of the longest ones. I wouldn’t say it’s the hardest in spite of it taking the longest for me to do no abilities (SMEX still-

Unironically one of the best boss fights from the series in terms of gameplay, atmosphere and music- and it’s a good way to complete magolor’s character arc of redemption by fighting the very thing he used to betray Kirby but then took control of him, and the Kirby clash motifs (and ending that-

Combos) is genuinely genius and adds a lot to the gameplay. The boss fights are also very challenging! Despite being based off previous bosses do feel different enough as their new elemental form does drastically alter how you approach them. The new original master crown final boss is also-

Skill tree that gives me more stuff to play with and buff my previous moves. I love this addition! They could’ve easily had it so Magolor plays like he does in Star allies but starting him off with only one weak attack and progressively unlocking new moves w magic points (which I get more of from-

Fantastic addition. While not that long, each level was fun to play through and sufficiently challenging, the combo system easily increases their fun factor and replay-ability as I not only wanted to go for platinum ranks for my combo but also get more magic points to unlock more moves from the-

After the main game completes and this is easily my favorite new addition (even in spite of how much I enjoyed magoland). Being able to play as Magolor was already sick in star Allies but now having a new mode with original levels designed for him explaining the story of his reformation was a-

From across the franchise. Overall a fun mode that I’m pleasantly surprised has a lot to do rather than just being a collection of sub games with nothing to do. This dramatically increased my total playtime of the game alone lol. That surprisingly is not all as Magolor epilogue is unlocked-

Complete for each which adds a lot of depth to this mode (even if some were kinda BS), to something I actively want to complete rather than a mode I occasionally pop on just to play with friends. The character masks as rewards are also genuis and a nice bit of fanservice referencing characters-

And all the new subgames added from across the franchise are really fun (and some were even updated too!) I won’t go over all of em but checkerboard chased bomb rally, booming blasters and smash ride are my favorites. However not only are the minigames here but theres a whole list of missions to-

Merry magoland took the 2 subgames that were kinda after thoughts in the original and greatly expands this to its full blown separate mode (even if scope shot was axed in the process rip). With the new minigames added this feels like its own game within a game given how much there is to do here-

Enemies instead of half-assing it by making some enemies big and halving your health. These small changes do overall serve to make the already great game the most definitive and polished 2D Kirby out there in my opinion. But of course, the extra content overall is what really makes the experience-

Abilities while admittedly kinda feeling shoehorned in the adventure are still at least very fun to use and their extra ability stages are great and quite challenging as well. And lastly, extra mode, while still the weakest mode does at least try by adding in more obstacles like extra Gordos and-

Abilities (that you can even skip!), the emotes, added copy essences in certain areas while not really enhancing the game in meaningful ways are still very welcome and give this game a level of polish that goes above and beyond and fills it with even more life that it ever had on the wii. The new-

Character models and lighting. This is hands down one of the prettiest Kirby games and the best feeling to play too given the smooth 60 fps (which granted was in the OG but many switch Kirby games from some reason stick to 30). The new flashy loading screens, pretty animations for the super-

Artstyle with the outlines is very unique and helps this game stand out visually especially compared to the other modern titles as nowadays the OG can look rather basic. It’s neat to see concepts of the different cancelled Kirby games live on! And that’s not mentioning the new backgrounds,

Kinks to iron out, this remake opts to instead add in truckloads of new content with minor changes to the base game- that’s not to say I appreciate all the little things the remake adds to the base game! The artstyle first off, while I know some may not be too fond of I personally love! The pop up-
