Yall know about the national guard deployed to Portland & Chicago. What you may not know is that the National Guard is in my town of Memphis.

The national media does not report on it. I have my suspicions why.

We're a poor, majority Black town in a red state.

I'll add that I have no small amount of shame/imposter syndrome in posting this, because I used to be that kind of little. But I've worked on myself over the years, and can have compassion on folks like the Daddy in question. And stay humble in knowing that it's easy for desperate jimmy to return.
