I saw some people doing introduction posts so yes, I'll be a copy-cat. Hi, I'm Daniel Fugate. I write game news and do reviews of video games-mostly Nintendo and sometimes Xbox-at GamesReviews.com. I also talk about books and do reviews of them at my blog roland19.wordpress.com
I think I should go back to my apartment and get something to eat. And then play some games and read some. I really need to read more of my review book. Its interesting but it hasn't hooked with the "I can't put it down" feel yet. I'm pretty sure it will. Good night all.

Oh? Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 put together into one movie?! At the theaters?! That sounds awesome. 'checks local theater' Of course its not at my local theater. 💔

I have also tried to not think about how I missed a season of Only Murders in the Building. Mom and I love that show.

The tv show Paradise is coming back in February. That show had a killer twist. It wasn't the greatest show ever but I enjoyed season 1. It had potential. Hopefully season 2 is better.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but your Christmas wish to have a bookshelf with a rolling ladder is not “unrealistic.”

Definitely unhappiest (tv show wise) about missing the final season of Stranger Things. Loved all the previous seasons. Hopefully I'll catch the final season one day. (would be nice if they released the whole series on blu-ray but...its netflix...so probably not)

sigh. A new season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians coming and I will miss it. Liked season 1 a lot.

Doctors appointment with a potential new doctor later this coming week. Hope I like him. And then Christmas Party next Saturday. Its going to be a very busy week. (I'm definitely going to go see mom a lot too)

Oh an issue came up with the old house I gotta take care of on Monday too. I thought I was completely through with that place. Its just the gift that keeps on giving...

Filled out another application today. Online one. From the same place as last time. Supposed to go over there on Monday to get the signature I need. Then I'll need to get two more applications/signatures & hopefully get that turned in this coming week.

Just checked the weather. Sounds like we will get a little bit more snow and some more ice. sigh. We still haven't gotten rid of most of the snow & ice from last weekend. I hate winter.

Had no idea about this. It does not surprise me at all though.
The funny thing is that Warner Bros. did try here and there to franchise it and produced two failed Casablanca TV shows - first in 1955, the second in 1983.

Finished reading the main 'Camelot' story of Vol. 20 of Fables. Some side stories left in the volume. The Camelot story was really good. To be continued in Vol. 21 looks like. Can't believe this series is almost over. sigh
December 6, 2025 at 8:27 PM
Oh before I go, I did get Fables Vol. 20 from inter-library loan. Its pretty good so far. Might go home and read some more of that. I'm still waiting on Vol. 21. After that, I can read 22, which the library I go to has. Then I need to start a new series. Still thinking Scott Pilgrim. Alright, later.

Lunch was good. I think I will go home now and relax.

Waiting for lunch at McDonalds.
December 6, 2025 at 6:11 PM
Thinking about going to get lunch. There's some event going on downtown, wish I could go but it'll be very busy and probably costs something. So I will avoid downtown and go in search of lunch I think. sigh

I'm still not really feeling the Christmas mood though. Kind of feel down in the dumps when I think about the holiday season. So I hope it gets over fast. I am looking forward to January. Basically because of Animal Crossing. lol

Next Saturday, the apartment building where I live will have a Christmas party in the community room. I am going. Hope its fun. Sounds like they will have plenty of food anyway.
December 6, 2025 at 5:31 PM
Ohhh. Happy Console Gamer's Christmas special will be tomorrow on youtube! I look forward to seeing that every year. A bit of a holiday tradition. I'll grab my headphones tomorrow and go down to the community room to watch it.

Everything unravels eventually,
stone by stone,promise
after promise,but the beauty
is often in the adventure
of mending,of extending a hand,
stitching something new
out of the old mess,
scraps transformed
in brilliance,into beauty,
new magic
amid old spells,
an offering
without regret.
