It's Monday! And I am exhausted after a very busy weekend! I'd like to say thank you to Join or Die knives for inviting me to vend at the hammer in! It was extremely busy, I did a fair amount of teaching and some sales too! Looking foward to next year already!

Thanks! It was a p.i.a. lots of tinkering to make it work.
I want to say thank you to the Williamsburg Winery for hosting last night's event. Thanks to Maureen for the invite to vend! This is what 10ft of tent space looks like perched on a 6' table! Think I did pretty well. Here's to many more!

Just a bit of doodling for today's rainy weather. Being heavily influenced by the works of Mr. Andrus and Mr. Yezek

Probably the messiest part of the process is applying antique. This stuff gets into every bit of detail and highlights it. The excess will be buffed away. Then assembly can begin on this card holder.

Sundays for antiques. This messy process is really satisfying. Smear the goo on, wait to dry, and buff some back off. To leave all the detail full of contrasting dye.

Springtime, florals, how groundbreaking. The devil herself wouldn't approve, but I like it.

Sometimes working to originals has drawbacks right?
Whose up for a round of golf? Keep your balls handy with these sleeves! These little guys will keep them clean and ready to go. With a little sqeeuze you can pop them out for some tee time.

Finished up this practice late today. First gem setting and first beaded background. #engraving #gemsetting
I think the same about mine all the time
A. Way to go wife! B. I should probably do one of those too
I'll have to keep that in my back pocket. I've used evaporust on tools quite a bit. Most of my antique swords are stable without amy real concerns, but always good to have another tool ready.
Who likes stake and pancakes? Well you have come to the right place. Turns out these pancake sheathes I designed for buck 110s fit a decent vampire stake too!
Neat, I've heard tell of some tsuba collectors doing the same to stabilize red rust on their collections.
Thanks! Glad to see another 18th century person here!
