The way his legs tapped so carefully on the hallway carpet, avoiding noise while he peered around the bend. His fingers clamped anxiously on the long lens that extended from his body.

.. and he paced after the sound of walking, to follow.
Just enough behind in order to ensure his safety.

The human-like figure carefully stepped inside. The apartment was fairly dark, much like the rest of the building. What caught his eye was the figure cloaked in what appeared to be a blanket.

He smiled brightly.

Clicking, repeated and in different tones, came out in waves from behind that doorway as he closed it briefly. The tip-tapping of an unknown amount of legs didn't help as he finally cracked his door again.
