A custom movie theatre modeled after the Enterprise D bridge.

Also one of those cottage core glass walled libraries in the garden with ivy growing over it and fairy lights, and -crucially- a full time Gardner to care for it because I kill plants.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Spotted this near my house. Goddammit I love spooky season 😭

A Halloween display in someone’s yard. There are four average-sized skeletons who appear to be excavating parts of a giant 9ft skeleton. Some of them are wearing hard hats and all of them are in an area marked with lil orange cones and CAUTION tape. Two are carrying a massive ribcage and one stands atop a ladder, holding the pelvis of giant legs. The last one is behind the ladder lad so she’s hard to see.
