FBI agent Fox Mulder was born on this day in 1961. While the shadow conspiracy that he worked so hard to expose and put a stop to probably rues this day, for the rest of us, it's a good reminder to honour all those truth seekers out there that keep us from being controlled by aliens.

Yep. It touched a nerve alright. We've all been there.

It's such a juxtaposition with "Mar-a-lago By The Sea" which had me laughing.

Brilliant album.

On this day in 1969, A DJ on Detroit's WKNR radio station received a phone call telling him that if you play The Beatles 'Strawberry Fields Forever' backwards, you hear John Lennon say the words 'I buried Paul'. This started a worldwide rumour that Paul McCartney was dead.

On this day in 1960, at the United Nations, Soviet Premier Nikita Kruschev went ballistic, taking off his shoe and pounding it on his desk. The UN Assembly President, Frederick Boland, was so irritated that he actually split his gavel trying to re-establish order.

Simpler times.
