Charges of illegal noncitizen voting have been filed by Kansas AG Kris Kobach against a respected local mayor, who just won reelection with 83% of the vote. The politically ambitious Kobach promises “hundreds” more prosecutions. It’s highly unlikely.

Nov. 18, a federal court ruling halted the Trump-requested Texas congressional districts and said “substantial evidence shows that Texas racially gerrymandered the 2025 Map.” It's already been appealed to SCOTUS. www.americandemocracyminute.org/wethepeople/...

The UT judge who struck down the legislature’s proposed congressional map as “an extreme gerrymander” has faced threats of impeachment – and violence. FL’s legislature scheduled its initial congressional redistricting committee meeting for Dec. 4th.

We recently reported that President Donald Trump pardoned many of the fake electors in the scheme to overturn the 2020 Presidential election. But state cases in Georgia and Nevada have just been rekindled.

In Oct., the UT legislature proposed another gerrymandered U.S. House map which violated state constitutional rules for redistricting. Nov. 10, the presiding judge rejected the legislature’s map, choosing a constitutionally-compliant one instead. www.americandemocracyminute.org/wethepeople/...

We reported recently on a Maine ballot initiative pushing restrictions on voter ID and mail-in voting. Then mysteriously on Sept 30, 250 unmarked absentee ballots from Elsworth, Maine showed up in an Amazon package 40 miles away. The plot thickens. www.americandemocracyminute.org/wethepeople/...

August 25th, a Utah judge ordered a new Congressional redistricting map drawn after finding the legislature had violated the state constitution. October 6th, the legislature defiantly passed a new gerrymandered map.

Trump’s March 25th executive order, attempting to override the U.S. Constitution’s grant of election authority to states and Congress, has so far been blocked by 4 of 5 lawsuits. A Sept 17 ruling allows a challenge from 19 states to move forward.

We recently reported on a S. Carolina state supreme court case challenging the state constitutionality of partisan gerrymandering. The court ruled Sept 17 that manipulating voting districts for partisan power does NOT violate the state’s constitution. www.americandemocracyminute.org/wethepeople/...

Aug 29th, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services prohibited the League of Women Voters and other pro-voter groups from registering New Americans at naturalization ceremonies.

We reported that a UT state district court ordered a new Congressional map be drawn by Sept 25th. The GOP-dominated UT legislature asked for an emergency stay, which was denied on Sept 15th. The new fair map should be in place for the 2026 midterm. www.americandemocracyminute.org/wethepeople/...

A bipartisan bill banning members of Congress from owning or trading individual stocks has been introduced in the U.S. House. It appears the reform could pass, due in no small part to a tax break sweetener just for members.
