Two kobolds meet atop a hill. Saffraun climbs and calls out, "Flake? Is that you? I didn't know you liked stargazing~ Could I join?" Flake accepts, and Fraun joins them. "Thanks! It's so much quieter compared to the city." "Quiet is nice," Flake replies. "Isn't it?" Fraun exclaims, but he quickly realizes he is not that at all. "Oops-- Sorry. I'm usually by myself when I do this kind of thing, but that helps me think." "Mhm." Fraun does not recognize the non-committal hum and takes it for agreement, "Oh? What kinds of things do you think about?" He smiles. "You're always so quiet, I can't help being curious~" Flake turns their eye onto the other kobold, their expression unchanging. "I think about... the day I stopped feelings things. Mostly." Suffice to say, Saffraun is taken aback by this and may be regretting poking the quiet one of their little group.

Ive gotta convert my AI frustrations into more educational stuff. Ive tutored atleast a couple hundred of people over the years and failing/learning/fighting art is a fucking amazing thing to do. The actual progress people make and the personal ability to express yourself is priceless.

It's always so disappointing to see when anyone uses ai over experiencing that raw *joy* of creating something.

I keep seeing it crop up, but the whole "make it good later" meme is right; better to make something real and improve later than to stagnate with the plagiarism machine.

It took so long to get over the hump of "What I'm doing sucks", because that repetition, the constant "try" is the only way improvement actually happens.

Resorting to genai just robs the world of what could have been and utterly fails to release what imagination begs for it.
