On the way home from the Eric Church concert (which was awesome) a woman in her 50s was a little tipsy on the long flight of stairs to the Skytrain. A random concert goer in his early twenties offered his arm and said, "Here, you can borrow my balance" and escotred her safely down the stairs.

Our neighbours have the most festive bales of hay

Final set of Halloween Hellos for the season.
3 hand made Halloween themed cards on a dark wooden table. Reflection of my kitchen in the window and no, I will not be updating the lighting. One card with a silhouette of a forest with ghosts flying out of it, sunset and moon background. One has a silhouette of a Haunted house with a yellow shadow, a yellow moon, a ghost and a bat. The background is a purple sparkle that with flecks in it the size of your pinky nail as my hot rodding grandpa would have said. A flamboyant hot rodder would love the colour. The last one has muted purples in the background with a water colour look and a silhouette of a fashionista witch and a stamp that says You are FaBOOlous I should post one card at a time and the alt text would be shorter than a Dickens novel.

My grandparents had a set of these of my dad and his 3 siblings that were made in Disnayland in the 60s hanging in their hallway until the day they sold the house in the 90s. They had plain black frames and no skull bow.

More Halloween hellos
3 home made greeting cards. One black with Boo in styley orange letters looking like a jack o lantern face. One with pumpkin/ghost/spiderweb background, foreground 3 cats peeking over a brick wall. One an assortment of leaves arranged in a wreath and says Autumn Greetings. Oh the Boo card has a google eyed spider. I think he's judging, he looks pretty serious which a feat when you're a google eyed spider.

Autumn glimpses.
Road with decisous trees doing their thing in greens and golds. Some bold colour choices here. These trees are strutting their stuff. Cloudy day but still lots of colour. Split rail fence with trees of various types and all the colours. No decorator consulted but nature mades it work Different day, same trees. They're lit up with sun, flexing their awesomeness against the blue sky which is happy to serve as the perfect backdrop for the trees' fall fashion show. A little red out building adds to the pop.

I made some cards today
4 cards. One with a purple background, 5 little ghosts, 3 batd and a pumpkin. One has a black candlbra, spooky grey and blue background and an oval frame. Oh, this is too much to explain. They are all made of die cut paper shapes with a Halloween theme and generally bold colours because nothing about be says subtle. It was fun. I've no idea who to mail them to
