Not understanding what an “investment” means… you put money in now, and save it (i.e., make a profit) later on, as the (literal) tail-pipe outcomes are reduced. Less impact on the roads by having fewer cars damaging infrastructure, lower GHG emissions, lower policing and health costs…. JFC

A call to our CRD neighbours to step up and ease the burden that impacts the whole region is in order. Saanich is on the verge of another encampment and there is land in Colwood and Langford as well.

Imperfection is the perfect excuse for a few do-nothing Councillors.

I was shocked this summer to see the incredibly wide roadways in the heart of downtown. Huge boulevards in the middle and lots of bike lanes. Anyone know how an old city like this had such wide lanes?

Can we also be clear that after a pipeline is built and operational, there are virtually no jobs attached. The Crown gets some royalties and the owners of the oil get the profits, and the pipeline owner gets paid to ship the oil. Not the public.
