All you really need to know about me is I’m a Super Mario RPG stan, and I’m forever grateful for the nearly-perfect remake on Switch.

I was looking at stacking some cards to try and lock-in the current Game Pass rates before the price increase but then I looked through the Game Pass library and it really isn’t worth it. It will almost certainly be less expensive to drop it and just buy the few games I’m interested in playing.

It bothered me how the teacher assumed everyone had meals in their back pocket reflecting their “cultural heritage.” We might as well brought McDonald’s burgers.

It (unintentionally) made us feel ignorant for not being in touch with our ancestral culture.

But in hindsight, it was fucking funny.

Once, a teacher asked us to bring a potluck dish reflecting our family’s “cultural heritage.”

I never even met my biological grandfathers… But! My wife has German ancestry, so we brought a German Chocolate Cake and some parent had the audacity to inform us it was named after someone named German. 😤
