Ummm...to maintain equipment? When I worked from home, my vehicle sat in the driveway. My mechanic told me to take it out for a spin every once in a while to keep the systems, parts moving, otherwise tires can deflate, fluids go stale, etc.
True however if those office spaces remain empty, where are those workers?! The lady in my office who cleans out the garbage and vacuums said her company laid ppl off when we worked from home. They have since had to recall or rehire staff now that we have been mandated back to office.
Most companies have already mandated psrtial in office rtw while going further in the new year to full rtn to office! Corporate real estate was suffering!
