This little monkey is finally getting spayed, as well as getting a couple baby teeth (that never came out) pulled on Friday. Please send good vibes for my baby! She’s gonna be going through a lot!

Revisiting THE NEW TWILIGHT ZONE, which was the excellent 80s revival. First episode is written by Harlan Ellison, directed by Wes Craven, and stars a young Bruce Willis.

Yowza! It doesn't get much better than that!

Tarantino can say whatever he wants (and boy, does he!) but Paul Dano is both terrific and terrifying in PRISONERS.

Getting older is having an appreciation for the little things. For example, there are few things greater than having a supportive and comfortable pair of shoes.

Did a really cool podcast interview about my past work, my up and coming work, and my love of cinema. This one was a lot of fun, as it ultimately just came down to two horror lovers chatting away.

One great thing about getting a new apartment is that you also get to buy new stuff to decorate. Just added this awesome neon sign from Catwoman's place in BATMAN RETURNS. And yes, the O and the T turn off to make it spell "Hell Here."

Coolest purchase EVER!!!

Was in bad accident a year and a half ago. Hit and injured by a tow truck driver working for a shady company that tried to pay me off a tiny sum. Instead, I contacted my friend, the best personal injury attorney in LA.

Today, I got my payout. Fifteen grand to me alone. It pays to have friends.

Why yes, I did indeed just order these stunning ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD action figures. 300 bucks! The most I've ever spent on a toy... and worth every damn penny!

Gonna look great on display at my new place.

As a modern art lover, I believe in expertly chosen wall hangings that match the mood and decor of every room... which is why this perfectly chosen Picasso now hangs above the toilet in the bathroom of my new apartment. I present to you Pablo Picasso's... "The Butt"

With the new film set to drop, it's wild to see some people declaring Arnold's THE RUNNING MAN a "classic." As someone who saw it when it opened, I'm here to tell you it's one of Arnold's worst. Cheap, cheesy and dumb; a guilty pleasure at most.

Can't wait to see Edgar Wright's take on the book.

Not sure how it happened, but at some point over the past ten years, Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers transformed into Danny Trejo.

Wrote another issue of the upcoming comic book last night AND finished a pitch for the next series, which might be the coolest thing I've ever written. After a brutal year on the personal side, I'm finally feeling emotionally healthy again, and the writing mojo seems to be back.

Let's get there!

Lunch: Cubana Torta from Establos Carniceria in Camarillo. On the list of all-time great sandwiches, this one is near the top!

Well, damn... within the first 10 minutes, IT: WELCOME TO DERRY announces quite loudly that it is absolutely not fucking around. And then it does it again in the last ten minutes!

I'm in. A million percent in.

Just watched an old episode of FREDDY'S NIGHTMARES that featured none other than a young Brad Pitt. He gave it his best effort, but the script let him down. Wild to see him acting opposite Bill Moseley!

The show had its limited charms but was really just a cheap TALES FROM THE CRYPT knockoff.

Excellent call with my partner in crime (and exceptional comic book artist) in Ireland. We discussed our current book and mapped out our next three projects together. The current book, a folk horror/small town supernatural mystery/coming of age story, will see publication next year! Stoked!

Knocked out a big comic book pitch doc today, and then, for shits and giggles, I wrote a one-pager treatment for a JASON X sequel called... wait for it... JASON VS. ALIEN VS. PREDATOR. Obviously just for fun, but it keeps the gears oiled, and it's absolutely a movie I'd pay to see!

Just bought this Jason Voorhees water burial lamp for my new apartment. Because it's "holy shit" awesome!

Here's a photo of my friend and colleague, Jorge Bautista, getting shot in the face with a flashbang grenade. The ICE Agent is so afraid of Jorge (who was posing no threat) that he has wet himself. Please share this photo. Everyone needs to know what cowards ICE agents are.
