It probably still feels worse being a solo dev having a single project drag on for that long though. If you're working in a team, I imagine there's more of a sense that things are getting done. A 3 year project alone probably feels more like 10 years.
The easy way to get around this is just to make sure to order your falafel wrap boneless.

This took longer than I would've liked, but I'm relatively proud of it.

Cool video. I'm not super interested in real-world history but a fantasy mod for something like EU4 or Vic3 is definitely appealing. Fantasy avoids that feeling of obligation to historicity. Gameplay and narrative have an easier yime agreeing when one isn't fixed in place.
The game being bad. Weirdos hate anything that has even a whiff of anything gay or moderately socially conscious. Sometimes though, those games *are* bad, but it's not because they're "woke".
Always frustrating when people hate on the right things for the wrong reasons
Just a little sprinkle, a little treat
Okay, what the fuck is this image?
As long as Linux keeps getting better and Windows keeps getting worse, those lines are going to cross eventually.
Maybe I'm crazy but I don't get that reading of the headline at all. To me it reads: "Woman assaulted at twitchcon, consider not going because it's not safe"
I really liked your vampire video, are you gonna play bloodlines 2 just for morbid curiosity?
Trying to wrestle windows stuff you don't like out of windows is a losing battle. For your sanity it's better to just ignore it or avoid it imo.
So played out tbh, like cmon try to do something original like a feudal Japan revenge story.
Yeah repetitive stuff that is hard to automate but doesn't really have any creativity involved is exactly what AI should be used for.
Being able to afford your own giant apartment in a big city is definitely someone's fetish.
Huge, if true, for the racing scene
These folks chase the money and all the while not realizing creating something worthwhile is what gets you the money. You can always tell when money is the primary motivator, it puts a stink you can't wash out.
There's definitely an argument that these games have no real obligation to true history, but that decision to deviate should be considered and weighed against your design intentions. Just getting basic information wrong doesn't further a direction AND gives people a false impression of history.
I have highlighted the funny part for you
I feel like analysis is a lot more relevant for the softer concepts like tone or themes or overall message. A plain and factual statement of basic plot events is usually pretty safe, unless we want to get into the can of worms of *which* bible we use. Then I guess I get it.
Huh? Too many primary sources? How on earth is that a thing?
They're just being funny
It illustrates why political grifters like AI so much, the veracity is not the point. They like it because they can use it to reinforce their version of reality.
