Wrote 800 words Sunday a.m. on the 1st draft of my #urbanfantasy, then stopped for my son's birthday celebration. Last night, got great suggestions from my critique group, which I'm eager to revise. Today was a 3-hour chemo session. Time to rest, then back at the edits! #booksky #writingcommunity

Updated revision notes on all 3 books in my urban fantasy trilogy today. If I don't do it now, I'll have forgotten by the time I read them all through. The time's well spent to make sure the details are consistent throughout this epic multi-generational story. #booksky #writingcommunity #editing

I picked up a mild cold on Halloween but the doc said to go ahead with treatment today, so I'm at the halfway point with this chemo regime. Also worked on a blog, book review & newsletter before leaving for treatment. Gotta keep writing. It makes me happy. #writerslife #Booksky #writingcommunity

A fun Sunday spent carving pumpkins with the family. The granddaughters picked their own design by giving us goofy facial expressions. The big, scary one was my spouse's design. On the writing front, I wrote 1,100 words before I went to chemo treatment today. :) #Halloween #booksky #writingcommunity

Insomnia last night, which is unusual for me. Not great for writing or editing today, but it allowed me to sit back & think about next steps in my WIP. Came up with something new to happen. Might not have thought of it if my brain was functioning differently. #booksky #writingcommunity #writerslife
