REVEAL at Post Office Gallery has just been extended to Friday 14 March. The #exhibition, which showcases the work of Australian artists selected from Federation University’s Permanent Art Collection, includes my oil pastel drawing ‘Red Dress’, 2003.

Many thanks, Jenie. The lino blocks were printed onto semi-transparent layers of interfacing, a material commonly used as lining in dressmaking. It’s a beautiful surface to print on and it contributes to the translucent quality of the work.
‘The Daughter of Time’ (1997), my #linocut on fabric, was primarily influenced by René Magritte’s painting ‘The Eternally Obvious’ (1930), which I saw in the flesh for the very first time at the recent #MAGRITTE retrospective at #AGNSW.
