Finally ditched the Google Coral and tried openvino on my frigate with yolov9. I’m very impressed at the ability to do #ai #objectdetection on cpu/gpu rather than specialized hardware at similar inference speeds.

Finally ditched the Google Coral and tried openvino on my frigate with yolov9. I’m very impressed at the ability to do #ai #objectdetection on cpu/gpu rather than specialized hardware at similar inference speeds.
Designed & 3D printing a NAS case for my zimaboard2+2x 26TB. This is going to be offsite backup for my NAS backup. Finally going to complete the 3-2-1 backup strategy!

Just installed Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires and WOW. The difference is immediately noticeable. These aren’t just all-season tires - they’re true all-weather with 3-peak mountain snowflake certification.
Ford Mach-E #EV tire update! My factory Michelin Primacy tires just hit 47k miles - only 8k shy of their 55k rating. Honestly really impressed with how they held up. Time for an upgrade though!

Interesting that all this hype about ChatGPT 5 going to beat all SWE benchmarks, all they did was almost match Anthropic models! Anyways will try to give it actuals tasks through GitHub Copilot later tonight as all APIs are so slow now.

I was fighting Google Assistant (GA) to communicate with my self hosted @home-assistant.io It was working until yesterday…. it turns out @cloudflare.social bot fighting mode was blocking legitimate GA POST requests! Again I could not have figured it out unless Claude told me what to look for.
