I'm updating my website and I've settled on this bullet point as an important new addition. GenAI isn't only problematic when it affects me personally, and I'd like the people I work with to know I recognize that.

TikTok’s terms of service spell out very clearly that they use all of your material to train AI, and based on the language it sounds like there’s no opting out. I didn’t see the same language in Instagram’s TOS, but I’m decidedly not an expert. Anyone know of Meta is scraping everything, too?

Twice today I was told I should start using genAI to analyze my work, make self improvement suggestions, and/or create content.

No. ☺️

At the auto shop for an oil change, but I have a history of walking out having been saddled down with hundreds of dollars extra in repairs. I live in fear.

Doing yoga got a lot easier and more frequent once I stopped giving a sh*t how often I did it and for how long. 😌

Alex Pretti was an American hero. He saved lives. He protected people. He cared deeply about his community, unlike the murderous thugs who killed him.

The very last thing he did was try to help a woman who had been pepper-sprayed and violently shoved to the ground by ICE. 1/

The business-y social media platform likes to shove AI ads in my face, so I watched a short slop video about crows drinking tears. Except I guess no one- human or computer- knows what birds drinking looks like, or that tears aren’t gelatinous. 🤢

For f*cks SAKE can we get rid of auto-complete? I can type faster than I can catch the stupid algorithm trying to make my life “easier,” so I end up wasting more time deleting garbled up word trash than I do just f*cking typing. 🤬

14 US states have abortion bans, leading to a rise in maternal and infant mortality. Global experience shows that criminalizing abortion doesn't increase birth rates - it risks women’s health and lives, making it harder to obtain legal medical care and forcing them into clandestine abortions.
Anti-life: How U.S. abortion bans actually affect mothers and babies
In early December 2025, a law came into force in Texas banning the sale of medication abortion drugs to residents. Since the summer of 2022, when the U.S. Supreme Court allowed states to set their own...

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.

I like being a voice actor because who doesn’t enjoy reading a script and crying at 10am on a Monday. 😭

Are we supposed to call our reps and tell them we don’t like when the president engages in overt war crimes, or can we trust them to get there on their own?

Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.

Friendly reminder that we’re still in the year of the snake. The year of the horse starts on Feb 17th. Still time to shed your old skin before taking off on all fours.

Up since 2:30am because there was a fire in my apartment building (everything’s fine the tenant put it out before it got too crazy) so I think we’re kissing productivity goodbye today.

I have decided to start the trend of sending people little blessings for the New Year. Because if more people do it than just me it won’t be so cringe.

It’s been a hell of a year. You can read many more words about it on my LinkedIn, because I’m not pasting that much text into skeets. ❤️
