This number should be zero.

There should be zero cases of measles right now in South Caroline

Any number that is not zero is not acceptable

How much does pregnancy age a person?

Our biologic age differs from our chronologic age. In a fascinating new study of epigenetic changes:

1 pregnancy = 5+ years of biologic aging

So states with abortion bans are forcibly aging people five years

Excellent reporting on the ongoing issues facing our state
Rep. Melanie Miller is behind a bill that advocates say would stigmatize abortion and send more clients to her nonprofit. “Crisis pregnancy center director introduces anti-abortion model legislation” is a ready-made headline—so why was this fact only a footnote?

Right now, we can all work to keep medicine aligned instead with expertise

In the next weeks, doctors should be alert to starvation.

Starvation can be a surprisingly difficult diagnosis, as both food insecurity can be embarrassing & undisclosed but also the early medical manifestations can be subtle.

Unexplained lab or electrolyte changes?

Ask about food.
