I’m not saying we should be throwing money around, but getting benefits or being on benefits is not easy. A bit more compassion and less contempt would go a long way.

After a weekend in Glasgow, genuinely eye opening to see how much anti-immigration messaging is landing.

The left needs to be hyper focused on effective tangible politics which is wages, housing, health etc. as they’re all being used as reasons immigration is the root of all evil.

Still slightly dubious about the future of this. Threads seemed like it was going to be the end of Twitter, but it continued on and got worse.

Guardian leaving will hopefully be the beginning of the end. But still not convinced.
