60 years ago today the BBC screened Nigel Kneale’s second adaptation of 1984. Lost for many years it was returned to the archives a few years ago. And it materialised on YouTube over the summer.
Perhaps not as iconic at the 1954 Cartier version but worth your time!

Tonight’s New Avengers adventure was the classic episode Gnaws. A good example of of ripping off something that’s popular but clearly without understanding why it was popular in the first place.

So, we all know that the second recording block of Shada was cancelled due to strike action - but the sets were planned out in full... What would it have looked like? Wonder no more!

So it’s Doctor Who Day. It’s a series that has stuck with me since 1993 and never left. Glad about that as it’s been a gateway to so many fab things and also lots of lovely friends I’ve made over the last few years.
