Spent the better part of the day working on an impromptu game jam in pico 8.

Got an animated walking sprite that jumps and lands on collision. Wow. That felt pretty good!

Reading old issues of Famitsu this morning. Surprised to see Super Monkey Daibouken was ¥4900 when it was released. More surprised to find out it sold around 300k copies. Didn't see any reviews of the game in my search. I must've missed it.

Curious to know contemporary opinions of the game.

It's been a while since I've had a copy of The Legend of Zelda. Saving Princess Zelda after an hour and a half felt pretty good!

Finally acquired a remote control for my Sony Trinitron TV. After many years I was finally able to reduce the picture brightness and restore the blacks. Color and Hue adjustments made everything look great!

I'd say these days I'm shooting 60/40 digital and film. Would love to try more film but I'm still working on composition in the digital space. Figuring out my workflow. Where will these photographs exist?

I struggle with books and graphic design.
