We are beginning to see just how devastating the combination of repeat covid infections & the rise of consumer A.I. will be on society.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

Something that has bothered me, as a Canadian, since the shooting of the National Guard members is the consistent response from Americans about the NG being "put in harms way" & what that implies about the normalcy & acceptance of gun violence in the US. I couldn't live with that.

I am losing my mind with the Canada Post customs form. It won't accept my address & postal code. Just an error message no matter how I input it & I can't proceed past it. Fuckin'fuckfuck.

In the lead up to Expo 67 in Montreal politicians understood the need for uniquely Canadian stories. By the 70s tax credits were being applied to museum art donations, credits for Canadian made TV & film, magazines, Can-Con rules etc. It's an historical blip now in the age of media oligarchy.
Canada made weird tv shows because it was all being done with government funded art grant money so they fell in this wacky middle ground between “shoestring budget” and “no expectation to generate shareholder value” which is really the best way to make art

oh yeah, also, because i can’t currently ship to the states but i initially designed it as a sticker and i would very much like you guys to have it if you want it, i have enabled the sticker option as well as just the usual apparel!
