Here I am eight miles into the Royal Parks Half in London where my pace was starting to drop, my heart rate was starting to climb & I was starting to feel fatigued.

I didn’t know if I was going to be able to beat my half marathon PB but I did & this was one of the proudest races of my life.
I think this audio has serious summer anthem potential 🤣

Someone far more talented than me needs to take the audio from this video and turn it into the next viral song of the season, à la "Looking for a man in finance"!

I'm talking full-on remix, radio-ready banger. Who's up for the challenge?
It’s moments like this that make all those early mornings, late-night sessions, running in the rain, and battling the wind worth it.

Seeing that time flash up just made every single hour of training completely pay off.

Trust the process, put in the work, and celebrate those wins, big or small!
It happened again > You should’ve seen the looks I got for this 🤣
GREAT SOUTH RUN: Mission Accomplished!

What a perfect race day! I arrived in Portsmouth with one goal: better my fastest 10-mile effort from the Royal Parks Half earlier this month. And guess what? I DID IT! A new 10-mile PB!

“Why do you always look so happy in your race day photos?”

Because I am. Because after months of training, every cheer, every high-five, every step towards the finish feels like magic.

That smile? It’s real. That’s what 13.1 miles of passion, pain, and purpose looks like.
One month on & whilst I’m not still wearing my London Classics medal (!) I do still look at it every day with such pride including this #MedalMonday

Completing the two-mile Swim Serpentine event this time last month meant I officially completed the incredible London Classics challenge. Amazing
My ten-mile PB at the Great South Run makes it my FOURTH DBPB in four different distances this year!

*Marathon PB - London Marathon (April)
*10K PB - Grand East Anglia Run (The weekend after!)
*Half Marathon PB - Royal Parks Half
*10 Mile PB - Great South Run (Sunday!)

What a year for running!
Throwback to a month ago & a special #MedalMonday after I’d completed the final piece a special puzzle: Swim Serpentine!

That two-mile swim meant I officially completed the incredible challenge: The London Classics!
I DID IT! A new 10-mile PB at the Great South Run!

I knew a race PB was guaranteed since this was my first time running a 10-miler, but after clocking some speedy 10-mile efforts recently - like last weekend's Royal Parks Half - I was determined to make it my fastest 10 miles EVER! And I did!
Forget the fancy recovery smoothies - after 10 miles of pain and triumph, I’m celebrating this PB the only way that feels right… with an ice-cold beer (followed shortly after with burger & chips!)

The perfect reward for someone who just ran a ten miles faster than they ever have before!
🚨PB alert🚨I was quietly confident at the start of the Great South Run that I could beat the ten mile PB I set during last weekend’s Royal Parks Half.

I got off to a strong start & I was proud of how strongly I finished to ensure I got this PB of 72:16.
Great South Run 2025? Completed it mate ✅

Everything’s laid out for the Great South Run tomorrow, the legs are rested, and now it’s time to just trust the body and see what it can do.

After my PB at the Royal Parks Half, I’m hoping for another good run tomorrow. Can I beat the time I clocked in ten miles last weekend? Let’s find out!
Ready for the Great South Run tomorrow & whatever Mother Nature wants to throw at me

Checked the weather forecast for the Great South Run tomorrow, and it was a bit of a shock!

Usually, I'm stressing about whether it's going to be a 30-degree scorcher. Instead, it looks like we're getting wet and windy conditions across Portsmouth!

Wish me luck as I brave the elements tomorrow!
I’ll be running the Great South Run in Portsmouth tomorrow and I want to hear your guesses…

What time do you think I’ll finish in?

Comment with your prediction & the closest guess gets major bragging rights & a post-race shoutout!

Massive shout-out to Mandy for being the only one to predict my Royal Parks Half time would be under 1:40!

I honestly didn’t think I had it in me, but Mandy clearly did! Thanks for the vote of confidence, and I guess the running gods were listening!
Is it really a race day for me if I don't manage to sneak in at least one photo with heart hands?

It's my personal goal every race day after being inspired by one of my favourite runfluencers

This movement hasn't quite caught fire on the global running scene yet, but I'm not giving up hope…
Just watched a video with some unsolicited “advice” suggesting people shouldn’t enjoy a beer after running a half marathon.

My immediate thought? Shut up! These athletes deserve a cold one if they want it!

I’m obsessed with these shots of me running the Royal Parks Half Marathon 😍

It was an amazing race day for me on Sunday. Not only did I get to run through and past some of London’s most iconic scenery, but I also managed to secure a new Half Marathon PB!
Walk ➡️ Bus ➡️ Tube (Northern) ➡️ Tube (Victoria) ➡️ Final Walk. Phew! It was a race in itself to get to the start of the Royal Parks Half.

Every connection was a mini-checkpoint, and with each one, my focus just sharpened. By the time I walked into the park, I was like "let's get this done"
It happened again > Who knew runners wouldn’t be as pumped as me at reaching the halfway stage?! The silence was deafening 🤣

That Royal Parks Half finish line was PURE DRAMA (for me) 🤣

I knew I was cutting it seriously close for a PB in the final few kilometres but I refused to keep looking at my watch. I just gave it everything I had left in the tank & prayed it would be enough...
