Thought from yesterday - when I resumed my seat the chap next to me said

"I disagree with what you said, but it was brave and you said it very well"

or something like that.

As the @snp.org National Conference approaches I'm asking delegates to look beyond our elected members (fine people though they are), and to tap into the deep well of talent in our Ordinary Membership when casting votes in our internal elections.

Finally I'm standing to be the North East NEC Rep (Open List).

Recent changes have made it even less likely that ordinary members will be represented by fellow ordinary members on the NEC.

I want to be in a party where our Membership directs the Leadership, not Vice Versa!
