#lufc There’s no way he’s playing 5-3-2 at home, Farke will feel that our home form has been good enough so far (even though we’ve only picked up 8 points). If he changes it at all it’ll be away from home. Likelihood is he’ll be out of a job by then though.

#lufc Farke will not change formation on Wednesday for two reasons: firstly, he doesn’t like playing that way, and secondly, he wants to show the rest of us he was right all along. Unfortunately, 11 points from 13 games shows he’s not right all that often.

#lufc All that second half did was highlight just how needlessly stubborn Farke has been all season. Early changes, a formation that suits us, Aaronson brought on at the end to charge around a bit. We’d be comfortable by now if we’d seen a bit more of that in the last 12 games.

#lufc Pessimistic post incoming: of course I want to win but I don’t want this game to be ‘the one that saved Farke’. By the same token, I’m not sure anyone replacing him would do much better, certainly not the current favourites for the job. All a bit doomed aren’t we? 🤷🏻♂️

#lufc Don’t see that we need to ring the changes at home so long as BA is benched. We’ve done alright at home. It’s away that we have to change things as we just look set up to lose.

#lufc I don’t understand the argument that recruitment was poor and this somehow exonerates Farke. Stach, Perri, GG, Longstaff, Bijol were all Farke first choices. The only ones we missed out on were Paxiao and Muniz (who’s having a terrible season at Fulham). How is this an excuse?

#lufc Part of the reason BigLads FC looked like it was working was that we were getting stuck in, winning tackles high up the pitch and looked threatening at set pieces. None of those things have happened in recent matches. And it turns out quite a lot of the big lads can’t pass a ball.

#lufc You get the impression that if we were bottom of the league and 20 points adrift, Farke would still say the fans were over emotional.

#lufc I’ve caught that ‘inside training’ thing occasionally. All we seem to do is practice passing drills. Weird then how we’re not very good at passing to each other.
