Stuart replied to my initial posts, and I appreciate that he came on here to say this. While I will be keeping an eye on what folks are doing in the WWX community, I plan to rejoin the Discord for now and get some of my previous collection posted.
You're right. Slavery is bad. I've made sure we've said as much for anyone who wasn't aware. And the contentious comments about defending the Confederacy have been removed. If you spot anything like that, please message me on the discord
I understand that for the British it may not be as close to home, but it is a very big deal over here in the US.
I appreciate that. Slavery's horrors and the Confederacy's intent to defend it are well-recorded, but there are people who want to rewrite history. With the aftereffects of slavery and the war still resonating today, we owe it to the enslaved and their descendants to be honest about what happened.
That's pretty disappointing to hear regarding that they've let this kind of thing go on for a while. You'd think even the most centrist C-suite (for a miniatures company) could see that "slavery was bad" is a good line in the sand to draw.
Warcradle reply. Only addresses their in-game alt-history narrative, and nothing to address the guy posting "Lost Cause" BS.
I joined the Warcradle Games discord after hearing they had new plans for Wild West Exodus. Unfortunately, I found someone pitching "Lost Cause" BS and the Warcradle rep won't come down against it. Very disappointing and meaning I won't buy into the new edition. (Warcradle reply in second post).
I upgraded my computer earlier this year, so I took some time to raid Steam sales to check out some of the more hardware-demanding releases of the past few years.

Now that I've kinda sated myself for a bit, I've been checking out Doom WADs again and I have some shitpost opinions.
Catholic cardinals aren't eligible to vote on a new Pope after they turn 80. Francis served so long, he appointed quite a few cardinals, while cardinals his more conservative predecessors appointed aged out of being eligible. As such, the vast majority of voting cardinals were appointed by him.
