We’re introducing a new layer of verification on Bluesky — a user-friendly, easily recognizable blue check.

In addition to account verification issued by Bluesky, we're also introducing Trusted Verifiers. Select independent organizations can verify accounts directly.

I always remind people that valuable research isn't easy to identify up front. Research into lizard spit is what gave us GLP-1 inhibitors like Ozempic. We need to fund broad research interests because it's cheap upfront and the dividends are huge later.
Americans are not remotely ready for the kind of economic downturn we face from kneecapping our research powerhouses. The scariest part is how few see what is coming and how it might take a decade or more to correct.

We’re building a new static type checker for Python, from scratch, in Rust.

From a technical perspective, it’s probably our most ambitious project yet. We’re about 800 PRs deep!

Reminder: most of the articles out there about S3 Tables are paid AWS promotions. Let's wait until someone credible and independent publishes a detailed usage AND cost analysis. So far we can only see the tip of this Iceberg.

A friend's dad once told me the easiest way to get an an engineer to do something was simply to declare that it couldn't be done. This stuck with me.

Being on bluesky without fighting through a sea of bots and ads made me realize I don’t dislike social media, I disliked not being able to be social on social media
