Adore and miss terribly my home state of CT, UConn grad. Small but mighty, with one Senator who needs to run for D nomination. He was not at this event, he was speaking in DC (wearing a baseball cap). He is on this No Kings 24/7.

An excellent summation of where we are, and why, on this No Kings Eve. Undoubtedly, more marches will be needed. There can be no more powerful way to show- to prove- the opposition to this administration than these protests. And they know it. Combined with a faltering economy, bad news for maga.

My advice is don't comment and hardly, if at all, read the scrum. And if really off the rails, block. Ignore the noise, it will always be there. The only thing that matters is that you are writing what is true and factual, and if opinions, they are yours.

The soldiers who blew up boats in international waters were following illegal orders. The officer who gave the order was acting illegally (criminally) and perhaps those who followed them. Hope more retired military leaders will begin speaking out in public forums more often and in greater numbers.
