I'm fully supportive of immigration
I'm far more concerned about foreign money moving unseen around the world than I am about people
Everyone is our neighbour & we should be kind
I don't think false/exaggerated narratives about what's happening helps anyone
& the A level requirement is disingenuous

The German health care system employs about 15% of doctors who don't have German as a 1st language
Many of these are Syrian
Their German has to be significantly better to employed than a doctor in the UK who does not have English as their 1st language

The amount of study to get to C1 is immense
A level is considered equivalent to B1
There are 6 levels
B1 is 3rd highest
C1 5th
The language requirements to practice medicine in Germany are a great deal higher than the UK equivalent

But to work as a doctor in Germany you need German language level C1 (B2 for most other healthcare) which is practically fluent German - more taxing than A level German
