Beyond disappointed to learn that Arc Raiders, like The Finals before it, uses AI voice acting.
So many iconic game voice work is little vendor greetings, and to farm that out to a machine is a hollow admission of a lack of care.
I know a thousand actors who would have done better for buttons.

As a kid you love happy stuff, you become a moody teenager and refined young adult and you love reading about tragedy and suffering and pathos and then you experience enough of it irl that you just don't really want to read about it anymore
I love Peter Parker but I am a less enamored with the character's perpetual agony after having fought my own personal demons these many years. Let the man get married and have a kid, Mayday in the M2 continuity was great.
