They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

I don't think "assume Republicans are acting in good faith" should be a legal requirement for evaluating their actions.
Whether or not racial bias is involved, I think it’s wrong for elected officials in power to redraw electoral maps for the purpose of subverting the will of their voters.

I don’t understand why some people’s reaction to Platner is “well that seems kind of implausible, but I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt”. If there’s anywhere you should have low trust to the point of seeing conspiracy theories, it’s around Nazis. They conspire. It’s what they do.
