But as Helen Kennedy makes clear, the people Trump accuses of being in a Deep State conspiracy to rig the 2020 election against him *when he was president* were nowhere near any positions of power, Deep State or otherwise, that would have made that even remotely plausible. It's just fucking insane.

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

Re: gap betw Trump's huge unpopularity & Dem's smaller advantage in the generic Congressional ballot: But there is no "generic" ballot, it's always a specific race. I would add that Schumer and Jeffries are the uninspiring "generic" faces of the Dems. Give us inspiring candidates and we'll do fine.

I've run my business for 3 decades using Apple products & a chunk of my retirement is in Apple stock. Is there a group of activist Apple customers and/or investors trying to stop Apple from bending to Trump? Applying pressure as customers/investors (can then dump stock/stop buying as final step).
