I'm getting a free piano off Facebook from a nice lady who lives 2 houses down from me. My house will have no TV and a piano, just like the 21th century never existed

as a fun project I’m going to try to typeset, print, and bind a copy of The Sound & the Fury using colored inks in the first section to denote all the shifts in time, as Faulkner intended, based on margin notes I made in my paperback from the mid- to late ‘90s. Nik goes: “so you miss using Quark?”

Because I’ve got no free time & way too many hobbies, I decided to teach myself bookbinding. Here’s my first try, just a simple 32-page blank sketchbook sewn together with cheap thread, an old shopping bag as a cover & cheap printer paper inside

Faulkner’s books sold something like 10,000 copies in his lifetime. An iPhone video I stitched together last night has been seen 129,000 times in less than a day. It is likely the most popular thing I have ever done, or will do. What is this world

I talked with the owner of the new Silver Stone Castle in Swansea — and it’s not only an arcade or party space but the start of what could be a Great Wolf Lodge-style family resort, the biggest attraction in town since the mall. Look inside! www.heraldnews.com/story/entert...
Silver Stone Castle opens to guests. Inside the multimillion-dollar family resort center.
After years of work and tens of millions of dollars, Silver Stone Castle is here. But the owner isn't done dreaming yet, with even bigger plans.

He is currently in town again, by all accounts, serving out the remainder of his sentence in transition from prison to probation. Nothing bars him from running for office again

AI chatbots are making local pages unusable. This is inaccurate junk. If you admin a local page, turn this shit off -- it's embarrassing

Jesus that’s dire… every time I think Facebook can’t get worse it bottoms out even more. The full question in the post I shared was asking the name of the ship in Moby-Dick. It’s not even a proper nostalgia post. The Pequod wasn’t a real ship. If it was, nobody alive today could be nostalgic for it

So there are AI bots in local Facebook groups posting engagement bait. What a wonderful use of electricity
