I think there's a case to be made for bringing the passenger pigeon back from extinction.
Hunting pigeons isn't widespread anymore, so the underlying cause of their extinction is gone. So there's less chance of their immediately going extinct again.

I am trying to be better about letting people enjoy things which I find uninteresting.
That said, I'm actively routing against my hometown team because I REALLY don't want to live near a city where the team is going to the Super Bowl.
