Harry Kane just keeps getting better, doesn't he?

Bayern fans protesting against a potential return of Jerome Boateng to the club.

Boateng has told media that he was offered a possibility to shadow Kompany on path to a coaching licence.
Bayern on the front foot and in complete control without really trying. BVB have to show more desire/urgency in the second half. We've all praised their discipline under Kovac this season, but they have nothing to lose here and are holding themselves back.
🆕 Also wrote this during the week on Schalke, and whether or not this is the year they return to the Bundesliga. Currently sitting top of the 2. Bundesliga after tonight's 3-0 win at Hannover. Things are looking good under Miron Muslić. #S04
Is this the year Schalke make it back to the Bundesliga?
Schalke have been languishing at the wrong end of the Bundesliga 2 table since their last relegation from the top flight two years ago, but under the stewardship of head coach Miron Muslić, the Royal ...

Excited to say that I've been freelancing for Bundesliga.com & the app since the turn of the month. Had the pleasure of putting this together ahead of tomorrow's Klassiker with Bayern & BVB unbeaten.

Next-level Kompany & the Kovač factor.
Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund: title rivalry resumes
With Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund both making unbeaten starts to the 2025/26 season, their upcoming meeting recalls memories of hard-fought, title deciding battles of seasons gone by.

Upamecano would be a huge loss for Bayern. He's one player that has developed exponentially under Kompany. There's also Goretzka and Guerriero who both have expiring contracts in 2026. They have a small enough squad as it is.
Can't help but feel Bayern Munich are in a difficult position when it comes to extending contracts. They did well to tie Davies, Kimmich and Musiala down to new deals, but are stalling with Upamecano. Obviously the reported €20m signing-on fee is a big deal, but I can't help feel that [...]
Considering Woltemade rarely scored a headed goal for Stuttgart last season, he surely has his fair share this season.

Sven Mislintat discusses his time at Arsenal and decision to leave in 2019: "Arsène stepped down as manager eight months after my arrival, and Ivan accepted an offer from Milan shortly afterwards. A completely new structure was formed and on top of that, England was facing Brexit." (Kicker)
Sven Mislintat openly discusses his time at Arsenal: ‘We decided not to take the risk’ - Get German Football News
After his 11-year first stint at Borussia Dortmund, Sven Mislintat swapped the Ruhr club for Arsenal, where he was appointed the Gunners’ head of recruitment.

Borussia Dortmund got the job done against Athletic Club. Excellent response after the visitors' equaliser was ruled out. Guirassy and Brandt putting the game beyond doubt late on.
Big test for Dortmund's resolve here. Excellent first half but Athletic Club in control and pushing for an equaliser now with 20 minutes remaining. On comes Schlotterbeck.
Glad to see El Mala in there. Have only watched his 157 minutes for Koln this season, but such an exciting player.

I voted in part with my heart and in part with my access to elite level scouting algos.

Sub to Scouted. It makes sense.
His first touch is exquisite.
Forget what Rummenigge said about Woltemade's transfer fee. He's absolutely worth it.
That was a convincing win for Arsenal, I'd just rather not leave it so late next time. That performance and winning it with two late goals will certainly instill them with belief. A long, long way to go though.
Happy Birthday! And what a way to celebrate.
Two long balls over the top results in two goals for Brentford. Man United's defence looks like they're running in treacle.
Despite what the scoreline suggests, I genuinely thought Karl Hein - on loan from Arsenal - was excellent for Werder Bremen tonight. Key saves to deny Harry Kane (twice), and Nicolas Jackson. Commanding presence in the area.
There's some excellent German football substacks out there. If you'd like to subscribe to another, you can find Get German Football News' below. You won't find these articles on our website.
🆕 What next for Borussia Mönchengladbach?

With the club at a crossroads, Gladbach must learn from their mistakes of the past 4 years and start heading forward instead of backwards.

After the sacking of Gerardo Seoane, what proposed changes could Borussia Mönchengladbach make and where do they go from here?

Martinelli starts as Arsenal's #9 tonight. I know it's Port Vale, but excited to see how he performs.
I'd love to see Martinelli through the middle, his runs in behind are timed to perfection.

Eze and Saka on for Arsenal. Surprised the former didn't start given that this would have been the perfect opportunity for him to do so as the attacking player in a midfield three alongside Zubimendi and Rice.
With his performances last season, I would expect to see Atubolu in the German national team sooner rather than later.
In Freiburg's 3-0 win against Werder Bremen, Noah Atubolu (23) became the first goalkeeper to save five penalties in a row in the Bundesliga - stopper.
