This is an incredible image of comet 3I/ATLAS, taken by Satoru Murata ICQ Comet Observations group on 16 November 2025 from western New Mexico.

Structure within the major dust tail from the comet is clearly visible, together with two smaller jets trailing the nucleus and maybe even an anti-tail.

(1/n) Image thread about the LHA 120-N 159 (or just N159) region with #JWST NIRCam. Here the filters F300M (blue), F335M (red) and F460M (green) 🔭
I made F335M red because this is PAH, otherwise the entire image would be green.

The view from from the windows of the Apollo 12 Lunar Module just after landing 56 years ago. Apollo 12 was a great mission although the loss of the color TV camera at the beginning of the first EVA was a blow to live network coverage. In due time we saw the color and B&W photos the crew returned.

As far as the weather forecast goes, it looks like I only had one hour to try to get a pictures of interstellar comet 3I/Atlas.
And it worked!
Even the tail is faintly visible.
It looks like typical comet even with small equipment - Olympus E-M1II with 75-300 mm lens and Minitrack LX2 tracker.

The comet is going out with a bang. The tail was as bright as ever last night. Captured with Celestron RASA telescope, ZWO ASI533MC color camera, and an Antlia L-Filter.
