Reclaim our symbol!

The cross to me represents the unity of everyone, it's like the four cardinal points / the corners of the world.

It's horrible that the English flag - a beautiful red cross on a white background - is being used for disunity and hate, instead of unity and love.

We need to reclaim our symbol back.

"I never thought I needed change
But it makes me proud to say
That I'm somebody else now
That somebody's not here to stay
He'll be going away soon
And that's okay" - Lyrics to "Somebody Else Now" by Daði Freyr, 2021

I've been so many versions of me, and there are so many more to come.

This isn't just a trend; it's a systems-level response to a world that feels broken, a collective quest for meaning and myth.

The question is, will this new spirituality offer true light or just another partisan divide? #Faith #Psychology #Spirituality #GenZ

Young people are turning to faith, and it's no surprise. When secular life and endless scrolling leave a spiritual void, the soul seeks something more. [1/2]
Religious revival: Why young people around the world are finding faith again
From digital spirituality to gendered divides, faith seems to offer meaning and identity where secular culture has fallen short.

Unity is significantly better than division, but sometimes you have to walk away from self-imposed oppression in order to find that unity. The risk is that by taking away the shackles we step into the unknown.

How very mysterious of me 🤔😂

This is Greater Lincolnshire Mayoral winner (Reform UKs Andrea Jenkyns)

104133/247981 = 42% of the vote in Greater Lincolnshire

104133/829368 = 12.5% of electorate in Greater Lincolnshire

I think that journalists should start reporting the percentages of the electorate rather than the percentages of the vote. If might start to get more people out to vote if they knew that someone is now in power that only reflects 12.5% of the vote.

Though sometimes shadows fall, let hope's fierce ember glow for all!

Our inner spark seeks dawn, and is fueled by love's enduring call.

Reason lights the path, compassion lends us strength.

Hope remains, embracing all!

I've been thinking a lot recently about the interplay between professional stability, ambition and investing in oneself.

I don't think I've got it right to date. I'm actually so ambitious, but am in need of stability for a while, and at the same time need to invest in myself somehow.

Intercostal pain, thinking: cyber holes = human fragility. Inner "systems" weak, like code. Society plays a role too (Charles Fourier). Real security? Holistic. Fix us & world. It's all connected!

I've been off work this week, as I've damaged my intercostal muscles and nerves, and I'm in so much pain. Starting to feel a little better, or is that just the pain medication 🤔

We forget how fragile the body becomes sometimes, don't we?... But healing is also an amazing process!

Cybernetics is essentially goal-based control, where communication & feedback is key to understanding system optimisation.

With this we can optimise anything, but I especially like it applied to cyber security. #CyberSecurity is continuously effective only when it evolved. It cannot stay static.

KISS = Keep It So Simple
YAGNI = You Aren't Going to Need It

I feel like we need to remind ourselves of these principles a lot more in our lives.
