I lost someone I loved. She had early-onset Alzheimer’s, and watching her disappear day by day was brutal. When she passed, I felt relief—for her, more than for us. Part of me feels guilty, but some illnesses make death a kind of mercy. Can we be almost happy when someone we love is finally free?

I flew to London just to see Macbeth at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
Macbeth is a powerful work, but what they did with this specific performance (cast, set, sound...) was beyond all expectations. What a gift to humanity.
