Jean-Claude Van Damme swings on a pipe to kick the Pittsburgh Penguins mascot in Sudden Death
Surprised to hear, GDT seemed a perfect fit to make this too!
The first episode of The Chair Company made me laugh out loud a bunch of times. Tim Robinson killing it as always

Marjorie Taylor Greene's 'heelturn' is only because she's a scummy ass grifter who grifted her way into her position-- grifters follow money, and for the first time in the past decade it doesn't pay to be Pro-Trump-- that's all this is. She is not owed any fucking credit.
Friend of mine got me to watch this last year. Went in with super low expectations and was pleasantly surprised!

Man, I really hate how whenever people see a trailer or clip from a movie/show they dont like, the line now is "It looks like AI made it"
After being surprisingly quite disappointed with Dracula, I really enjoyed Frankenstein. Far more atmospheric, deeply tragic and with an amazing simple but at the same time incredibly layered performance from Boris Karloff as the Monster
Moved into my own place for the first time this past week. Still plenty of stuff to get (including buying covers for these armrests) but the two most important things are set up!
Not going as hard on Spooky season this year but I did tell myself this is the year I finally cross off some of the classic Universal Monster movies. Starting tonight with...
When we talking about the hardest working actors in Hollywood, we should be bringing up Daniel Bernhardt's name every time

This post brought to you by watching Afterburn, like the 5th or 6th movie I've seen him in this year alone
This must be rectified (He says on the day he went to see A Big Bold Beautiful Journey)
Realised today that I haven't watched an action movie in nearly a month? What have I become?

And Schlocktober Begins! It's Kills & Giggles. Lindsay Mike Scott & @andrewmgorham.bsky.social start by going down the back roads. A Double Wrong Turn (2003) & Tucker & Dale vs Evil. It's a Hillbilly Holiday!

Hell yeah. Buzzing for Scott that he got to do this. Insane that Marko Zaror and I have now also guested on the same podcast
On this special bonus episode we are joined by none other than action movie star Marko Zaror! To talk about his upcoming movie #Affinity which he not only stars in but is also a producer and where the central creative spark came from.
Releasing September 30th from

Thanks as always Andy!
Wish we'd realised early and snuck as many in as we could!
Tonights viewing. Charming, funnier than I expected and equally sad at times. The very slight sci-fi element feels pretty undercooked but the excellent chemistry between Brett Goldstein and Imogen Poots carries it a long way. Goldstein especially, charming as hell
Had Carmelita on to talk a movie that released later than the 70's which I hadn't got to talk with her yet! Had a great time as always
New episode time!

This week on Blind Spots, Dan is joined by returning guest Carmelita Valdez McKoy (@carmelitasays.bsky.social) to cross Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street from Carmelita's watchlist.
