For Ash; probably the deal they made with the first Voidsent. They’re learning how to relationship, which is conflicting with the deal they originally made, but now they want to have friends and learn how to love, and they won’t let the Voidsent take that away from them.

wolqotd - oh gosh good one. I don’t imagine Ashton has the Echo or anything that keeps them from turning. So initial instinct would probably be to run. Because she would honestly rather d*e than serve a perceived god.
Just some more character building with Ashton; they run away when faced with commitment. Weather they realize it or not, when they start to grow especially attached to someone, even love them, they physically run away and do whatever they can to avoid that person. Even change towns.

wolqotd- I’m shifting over to Ruby for this one, as she is currently going through a hair crisis. She has gone through many different hair styles now but nothing seems to fit quite right. She always seems to go back to short, messy hair though. Probably because it’s the least maintenance.
