STV North cannot be allowed to disappear.

Centralised Scottish news has a bias towards the central belt. Always has, always will.

By removing the northern edition of STV News, we risk losing an outlet for important stories from Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness, Moray and the Highlands.

Having afternoon off, got Linux-ified laptop casting to the TV (gnome-network-display from FLATPAK not Ubuntu repo) and played some LOTRO casting to TV

Not perfect, but worked. Have to see if there is anything to tweak to reduce lag, maybe wire rather than wireless for a start

I bit the bullet, replaced the SSD and upped the memory in my computer and installed Linux because I am not buying a whole new machine to supply Microsoft with data on my habits
