Dahas monitors reported drug-related killings in the Philippines. Sandatahang Dahas tracks state-related violence in the Philippines. Both are projects of the UP Third World Studies Center.
On 1-7 Dec 2025, 4 died in Marcos’s drug war. Rizal claimed the 20th female victim this yr–a drug peddler killed by a suspect who refused to buy drugs. Meanwhile, state agents killed an HVI who resisted arrest during a buy-bust op in Cavite.

In November 2025, 34 were killed and 29 injured in incidents of state-related violence. This month saw an increase on police-vs-police incidents, as well as a spike in deaths from anti-insurgency operations.

In Nov 2025, 20 were killed in Marcos’s drug war: 7 users, 5 pushers, 4 HVIs & 4 w/no drug ties (2 police assets & 2 police officers of PDEU). Vigilante killings by unidentified assailants predominate (8). State agents follow with 7 of 20 killed.

On 24-30 Nov 2025, 3 died in Marcos’s drug war. 2 in a buy-bust op in Basilan, including a PDEU police officer with no known drug ties. Ilocos Sur recorded its 1st drug-related killing this year when a pusher was killed in a deal gone wrong.

On 16-23 Nov 2025, 7 died in Marcos’s drug war. After a 2-month lull, 4 were killed in NCR. This includes 3 HVIs who tried to double-cross the police in a buy-bust op and an informant w/ no known drug ties. Another informant was killed in Rizal.

On 8-15 Nov 2025, 1 died in Marcos’s drug war–the 1st in Davao City for 2025. The last reported drug-related killing in Davao City was in Sep 2024. Davao City was the top hotspot of drug-related killings from Jul 2022 to Mar 2024. Now, it's Cebu.

On 1-7 Nov 2025, 7 died in Marcos’s drug war. A Drug Enforcement Unit cop was killed in Nueva Ecija, while state agents killed 3 in buy-bust ops. Maguindanao del Norte claimed its 7th HVI victim. To date, a total of 22 HVIs died in 2025.

In October 2025, 32 were killed and 20 injured in incidents of state-related violence. For the 4th month in a row, we recorded incidents of sexual assault (classified as an injury) done by state agents towards civilians or fellow state agents.

In Oct 2025, 26 were killed in Marcos’s drug war: 14 pushers, 5 HVIs, 4 w/ no drug ties (1 by an enraged suspect, 1 w/ a targeted pusher, 1 brgy capt active in anti-drug ops, 1 police), 2 users, & 1 w/ drug records. State agents killed 13 of 26.

On 24-31 Oct 2025, 10 died in Marcos’s drug war, 2x the count from last week. Among them, 1 HVI in Sulu & 2 victims w/ no known ties (a cop in an op & a friend of a pusher). The 2 pushers killed in Cebu keep it as the top hotspot w/ 46 killings.

On 16-23 October 2025, 5 died in Marcos's drug war. Most of those killed (4) were drug peddlers, of whom 3 were killed by state agents. The 5th casualty was w/ no known ties, a chairman in Sultan Kudarat, who was active in barangay anti-drug ops.

On 8-15 Oct 2025, 7 died in Marcos’s drug war. State agents killed 5 in buy-bust ops. Of the 3 HVIs killed, 2 were killed by cops (those in Maguindanao del Norte) and 1 (in Cebu) by a non-state agent. Cebu remains the top hotspot w/ 44 killings.

On 1-7 October 2025, 4 died in Marcos’s drug war. Among them is a pregnant woman w/ no drug ties, killed by a drug suspect whom she knew. State agents killed during buy-bust ops: an HVI and a motorcycle driver implicated in drug peddling.

September saw 25 killed & 27 injured in reported incidents of state-related violence. 9 were injured at a Sept. 5 protest. Excluded are civilian & police casualties during the Sept. 21 protests as there is still no reported final count of these.

In Sept 2025, 20 were killed in Marcos’s drug war: 9 pushers, 3 HVIs, 3 users, 3 w/no drug ties (1 ex police asset, 1 caught up in an op & 1 minor hit by a stray bullet), and 2 w/drug records. State agents (w/ 9 kills) remain the top assailants.

On 24-30 Sept 2025, 4 were killed in Marcos's drug war, all on the same day. State agents killed 2 suspects in buy-bust ops in Batangas and MagSur. Among them, an HVI, is a member of the Dawlah Islamiya group charged with 6 other cases.

On 16-23 Sept 2025, 5 died in Marcos’s drug war. 4 were killed by state agents, who reported that suspects resisted during police ops in Maguindanao del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur. Among them was a suspect’s child, a minor with no known drug ties.

On 8-15 Sept 2025, 7 died in Marcos’s drug war. More than half were cases in Cebu, still this year's top hotspot. 2 are w/ no known drug ties: a mistaken identity case in Cebu and a victim caught up w/ an offender in Bukidnon.

August has the most incidents of state-related violence so far w/ 49 killed & 36 injured. 3 rape cases by the PNP were recorded, 1 against a policewoman and 2 against 17-year-old girls. In July, a soldier in MDS was possibly hazed to death.

In August 2025, 30 were killed in Marcos's drug war: 12 pushers, 5 users, 5 w/no drug ties (2 police assets, 2 victims of enraged suspect & 1 from CIDG), 4 w/drug records & 4 HVI. State agents killed 13, a fourfold rise from last month.

On 24-31 August 2025, 7 died in Marcos’s drug war. State agents predominate in the killings in Leyte, Laguna, and Maguindanao del Sur. The almost once-a-week killing continues in Cebu, the country's top hot spot.
