I was only there for a couple of days. I was serving in the Falkland Islands for four months, the flight to there was about 19 hours with a 30 minute stop at Ascension Island. It took 4 days by boat to get to South Georgia.

All this talk of penguins reminded me of the time I photographed some King Penguins during a trip to South Georgia, probably not as tasty as the chocolate variety.
