Grumpy old man (since a teenager). Green. Raging against the dying of the light. Buyer, and occasional reader, of books. Coffee, beer, wine - not necessarily in that order.

ol' shit show from a morally reprehensible Tory pack of lying bastards, but there have been poor decisions big and small (belated condemnation of Israeli slaughter force, to swift bricks).

Can't see how he can redeem his position from here.
Struggled for ages as whether to vote tactically and put an X against local labour candidate in last election.
Finally decided against doing so, and boy, am I glad now!
I had high hopes for a Starmer government but believe it's been a disappointment from day one. I appreciate he inherited a right
Starmer showing, once again, that principles are for that day's photo op, not for life.

How is one man who promised so much getting it so wrong all the time?
Wasn't it always about self-enrichment?

Did anyone look at Trump and think "I'll vote for this guy, his morality is spot on, his history is filled with good works for other people"?

THE WHOLE WORLD knew he would only be in it for personal gain and retribution on anyone who'd ever slighted him.
NOTHING LIKE THIS HAD BEEN ATTEMPTED OR EVEN IMAGINED IN THE HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN PRESIDENCY
The sense of entitlement this pr*ck has is astonishing, thinking the law doesn't apply to him.
🚨 Driving drunk with your kids in the car and thinking that is okay because you are an ICE agent answers all the unasked questions.

I'm so grateful for being a part of our diverse, representative leadership team at @greenparty.org.uk. We're gaining hundreds of members each day and surging in the polls. 💚
WTF?
If this poster failed to see the Christian teachings renewed in Francis' and Leo's actions, then they're certainly not a Christian.
A cultist, perhaps, but not a Christian!

In USA, vote for Zohran Mamdani

In UK, vote for the Green Party and Zack Polanski.
France still gets tourists, despite what they did to their royalty. Considerably more.

Maybe, if we cut all contributions to them from the public purse, there would be a discernable difference to your quality of life (library opening hours, children's breakfast clubs, investment in the arts)?
Nobody should say his title out loud, for fear, in full Beetlejuice fashion, of him resurrecting his proclivities with underaged girls.
I think they're being very respectful here. No way are his hands the same colour as his face, and simply no way whatsoever to recreate the ever-thinning rats nest stop his bonce.
Nice try though!
Good.

I don't want to see/hear from him again unless it's his full and frank admission of guilt in a court of law. Then we'd see whether he does indeed sweat!
I have absolutely no respect for privileged-wastrel Charlie-boy BUT I can't imagine the shame of forever being tainted by having a sicko brother whom ALL THE WORLD believes is a paedophile, irrespective of his protestations.

Thought his position enabled him to do anything without comeuppance. Pah!

As the richest guy in the world, Musk could leave one hell of a legacy. He could solve world hunger or build Carnegie-like centres of knowledge. Be the kinda guy whose name lives on for all the right reasons

Instead he's chosen to stoke race hate, wreck twitter and appoint himself Wanker of the Age

Used to work for small firm, with little/no raise for years. Offered a job from firm I didn't want to work for, so asked boss for an 15% raise to stay.

No problem, he said.

He lost what little respect I had for him that day.

I don't know anyone greedier than a wealthy person.
The back pay to employees should be doubled, by way of compensating them. Also, whatever the company was going to pay out in dividends should be paid as a bonus to entire workforce (excluding top tier management, of course).

Shareholders will get annoyed and demand better governance. Win:win.
... but then daddy Trump isn't the stupidest Trump in the family, is he?
"He doesn't know anything about anything."

There, I corrected it for you.
Went to see Josh Widdecombe doing stand up last night.

Tickets were free but I still feel short-changed.

Abysmal.
She'll be happy with that picture of her, it doesn't show her horns, pointy tail or cloven hooves.
These, too, are new to me. I'll look them up today. Thank you.
Afraid my time for poetry hasn't really extended beyond Spike Milligan and Henry Normal.
I've never really listened to Benjamin Zephaniah's poetry before but this one's certainly worth a few moments of your time.... it's beautiful!

... then remember to get mad as hell with Jenrick, Farage and their hate-filled sycophants. Don't let these bastards dictate the narrative!
Not "for nothing", for their unrelenting, insatiable personal greed.

These heartless ghouls promoting leaving the ECHR care for nothing and nobody other than themselves and their (off-shore) bank balances.

The epitome of evil.
